Nitrous oxide is a very common inhalational anesthetic that offers analgesia and anxiolysis.
It’s a colorless, non-flammable gas with a slightly sweet taste. Due to its euphoric and hysterical effects, the substance is also called “laughing gas.”
This not replace the local anesthesia, and regular care after each treatment must be followed once leaving the office.
